The wooden platforms of various architecture called wakaf are an institution in the East Coast. There, on the cool open spaces, people meet, rest, repair nets, talk, or play draughts. Fee Ming has caught his models in characteristic postures—sitting, squatting, or lying down, seemingly having more time at hand than other mortals.
