Home wears red batik and hides a lighted cigarette in the palm of the hand. The sea is made of gold and blue glitter. Strongly opposing themes of colours and lines depict the two worlds of the fisherman; at the moment, he is leaving one to plunge into the other. A transverse line, like a wave, leads from the blue sash of the mans waist to the red anti-fouling paint of his boat. Time, here, is marked not by the watch, but by the rising of the tide.
