CHANG FEE MING

During the school holidays, groups of young boys can be seen walking around, carefully holding the folds of an unsewn sarong in front of them. It is the season of the Muslim circumcision (khatan or sunat). It marks the entrance of a boy into adulthood. Focusing on the revealing gesture brings closer the feelings of the young man.
